Destinations Career Academy of Colorado (Destinations), an online program of Julesburg School District, is Colorado’s first full-time, online career technical education program approved by the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education (SBCCOE). Destinations, powered by K12, helps students in grades 4–12 get a jump-start on their college and career dreams by combining core academics with real-world skills.

Our Story

Destinations is open to full-time Colorado residents in grades 4–12. Students can get a jump-start on their college and career goals while completing their high school requirements. We offer career and college prep for grades 6–12; middle school career explorations courses; high school pathways in high-demand fields; preparation for industry certification exams; and a concurrent enrollment program.

CODCA spirit

CODCA students enjoyed the option of choosing Anderson Farms or Wishing Star Farms to visit a pumpkin patch during 1st semester of the 2021-2022 school year. Kids enjoyed the farms’ offerings while mingling with peers and staff alike. Each venue hosted nearly 25 students and four staff members. This was an all-grades event for CODCA students.

You can use your middle and high school years to figure out where you want to go and how to get there. In addition to core courses, you’ll take career-focused electives to explore your options and find your passion—all while earning your high school diploma. Discovering what you want to do now can prepare you to dive into a career right out of high school or help you make the right decision about your college major. Career fields include Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources; Business Management & Marketing; Criminal Justic & Public Safety; Education & Training; Engineering Technology; Health Science; Hospitality & Food Production; Information Technology; and Media Arts.

Our Story

CPA is open to full-time Colorado residents in grades K–12. We offer a personalized approach to education; online and in-person academic and school support services; honors, Advanced Placement®, and concurrent enrollment options; career and college prep for grades 7–12; and adherence to required state testing.

The Support You and Your Student Need

Our teachers are committed to helping your family succeed with online learning. They provide instruction and support as your child works through the curriculum. And they keep the lines of communication open through email, phone, online “Class Connect” sessions, and online and in-person activities. You’ll also receive textbooks and other hands-on materials delivered right to your door! These offline materials complement the interactive online elements of the lessons and vary by grade and course.

Pikes Peak Online School (PPOS) is a full-time online public school for students in grades 9–12. We’re dedicated to inspiring and empowering students through an education experience tailored to their needs.

Our Story

PPOS is open to full-time, Colorado residents in grades 9–12, We offer credit recovery and CTE courses, concurrent enrollment at 20+ colleges and universities, weekly in-person learning, and a GED program.

School Opening and Location

MU Prep held its inaugural first day of school on August 3, 2022, for Indiana residents only. We will also offer grades 11 and 12 in the coming years. MU Prep-Indiana offers a fully virtual program to students across the state and a hybrid learning option, including in-person learning at Marian University in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana.
